I’d been eagerly waiting for Romana’s Kitchen to open because I adore brunch and it has exceeded every expectation. I’ve been a few times now and the food is consistently excellent, the service is warm and charming, and the coffee is absolutely delicious. Such a wonderful addition to Leslieville. I can’t wait to come back again and again!

A great place in a great location. We even got to meet the actual Ramona! She is an exceptional human being and was able to accommodate our party of 6 with two little kids as part of this. The food is incredibly fresh. They also use real butter on the toast. Our wait person Diana, was attentive without being intrusive - a rare quality. The ambiance is warm and inviting, like being at a friend’s place for lunch. Highly recommend.

Had Diana as our server on busy Sunday brunch. She still took time to tailor the menu to our tastes hadthe smoked salmon with spicy hollandaise substituted in. Thé poutine with the “tri-head” potatoes was a clever change. Eggs were poached to perfection and the salad was light and airy.

My daughter and I stopped in because we couldn't find anywhere to park near the place we were originally going to go. Talk about a win! The decor is spectacular. I really love The Rustic look with the exposed brick, exposed Industrial piping, and lots of wood accenting. The bathroom is extremely clean with luxe quality paper, soap, etc. Pay attention though, it's not an automatic type. The pedals are on the floor. The hot water pedal does get very hot. I have the salon plate with avocado caprice salad and a pistachio latte, my daughter had the Greek salad with an iced Nutella latte. The salmon was perfectly cooked, with tender, Juicy Flesh easily flaking away. The avocado Caprice salad was good. I enjoyed it, although I would have prefer the avocado slices to be on top instead of tossed throughout. The asparagus was also cooked perfectly, which doesn't always happen in a restaurant. No squishiness! My daughter enjoyed her Greek salad very much. One thing I really appreciate it was when our server, a delightful Young lady, noticed that Max had not finished her latte. Max explained that she doesn't really like coffee, she only ordered it for the nutella. The server pointed out that there is a Nutella hot chocolate available, but we had overlooked it on the extensive menu selection. She offered to bring another one, and, when Max declined, she brought back a cookie instead. It was very tasty and tender and very yummy. It seems this is a new restaurant, I'm sure the neighborhood will embrace it because it is a very worthy addition. It's worth driving back from Brampton to visit again.

It was a sunny morning in the line up for the grand opening at Ramona’s Kitchen and I really enjoyed the free breakfast bagel sandwich and the crispy fish sandwich! The breakfast bagel was so beautiful to look at and it tasted so fantastic! And since the egg yolk was runny it was tricky to eat the middle part without getting messy. The crispy fish sandwich was so crispy! I loved all the flavours. Only minor criticism is I found there was more bun than fish so the bread overpowered the yummy battered fish taste. Also got a free chocolate chip cookie for posting and tagging the restaurant on Instagram. It was so chocolatey and truly heavenly!

While the food was good and the menu had some interesting brunch offerings the service was uncoordinated. My partners meal was brought out about 15 minutes before the other three meals. They felt awkward, not wanting their meal to get cold, but also wanting to wait for others before starting to eat. I feel like the food could have come out hotter but the food tasted great. The breakfast footsteps were delish and none went to waste!

We go to Ramona’s on Bayview semi regularly so we’re happy to see another location open in our neighborhood. The menu has a great variety and we are always happy with our order. Today we had the deluxe burger and the turkey blt. Everything tasted so fresh and was made with great high quality ingredients, and the fries were perfectly crispy. It’s a really generous serving as well. The server was very lovely and friendly - it seemed like she was the only one working the front but she did not miss a beat. We will definitely be back
